This is what you should know:

Does Ford offer complimentary home EV charging?

Yes, the Ford Power Promiseā„¢ includes a complimentary Ford Charge Station Pro with your purchase or lease of a Ford electric vehicle.1 Whether you're interested in an electric truck or SUV, you can enjoy a free home charging unit to take the stress out of recharging.

How do I install my Ford home EV charger?

Ford is partnering with Qmerit to provide new electric vehicle customers with a complimentary, professional installation service.1 That means you can upgrade to a new Mustang Mach-E or F-150 Lightning in Rising Sun without worrying about finding your nearest EV chargers!

When is it cheapest to charge my Ford EV at home?

You may be able to save on your electricity bill by charging your electric vehicle during off-peak hours, or after the sun goes down. This is because after dark is when the electrical grid has its lowest daily traffic.

What are the different types of home electric vehicle charging?

Electric car chargers are divided into three categories: Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 (DC Fast Charging), with the former two as home charging levels. Level 1 charging can be done with a standard 120V wall outlet and is ideal for smaller charges. Meanwhile, Level 2 charging, whether plug-in or wired-in, offers speedier charging times. You can use the Ford Mobile Power Cord for plug-in charging, while the Ford Charge Station Pro and Ford Connected Charge Station are permanent, hard-wired solutions connected to your home's electrical system.
